Summer Internship

Position: Intern

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Caroline Gleich’s campaign is looking to bring on Interns to work with our campaign staff to provide support for this year’s election. Interns will gain hands-on experience in all facets of campaign work, growing their understanding of campaign strategies. They will learn about elections and campaigns, engage in conversations with voters and volunteers, and collaborate with a dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain valuable campaign experience.

We are looking for interns to join our campaign team between now and the 2024 general election. College and university credit available, dependent on your university, and potential for a stipend. Weekly hours will be dependent on the level of interest and university credits. This internship is based in Salt Lake City, Utah - some travel may be required. There may be potential for remote work.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and mobilization including but not limited to:

    • Canvassing

    • Phone banking

    • Delivering yard signs

    • Participating in campaign and community events

    • Drafting written materials and communications

Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A strong desire to work in Democratic politics

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively

  • Strong work ethic & willingness to occasionally work long or irregular hours, including evenings and weekends

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

  • Bilingual speaking and writing are a plus
